Description
Tenuta Demaio Bombino Macerato is a fascinating “orange wine,” organic and unfiltered, made from 100% Bombino Bianco. This unique wine undergoes a prolonged 15-day skin contact and is aged for 8 months in barriques, giving it an alluring amber color. On the nose, aromas of ripe peach, dried apricot, and subtle spice notes emerge. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and complex, with lively acidity and a persistent finish.
Food Pairing: It pairs exceptionally well with flavorful dishes such as roast chicken, grilled pork, spiced curries, and aged cheeses. Also excellent with colatura di alici (Italian anchovy sauce), sushi and smoked fish.
