Tenuta Demaio Nero di Troia Rosato is a charming rosé wine, organic and unfiltered, made from 100% Nero di Troia grapes. It shows a delicate cherry-pink color and offers aromas of pomegranate, sage, and rose. On the palate, it is light, pleasantly easy-drinking, and quite persistent.

Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with light appetizers, grilled fish, salads, and vegetarian dishes.

Tenuta Demaio is a family-owned winery located in San Severo, Apulia in Italy. The Demaio family has a long history in agriculture, with Antonio's grandfather cultivating olive trees in the early 20th century. Antonio himself developed a passion for wine making from a young age. In 2010, he began renovating an old farmhouse to establish the winery. Since 2013, Tenuta Demaio has been producing wines using organic and traditional methods, focusing on indigenous grape varieties like Bombino and Nero di Troia and organic olive oil using the local variety Peranzana.

Their wines undergo spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, and for the Macerato, fermentation and maceration take place in barriques. They avoid fining, stabilization, and sterile filtration, adding only a minimal amount of sulphites.

Their packaging is designed to respect nature at every step: they chose lighter bottles, labels made from Fasson Marble paper, a special stone-dust paper that saves over 65% of paper compared to traditional labels, and polylaminate capsules to avoid PVC plastic. The cartons are unprinted, making them fully recyclable.

The label design is simple yet impactful: each label features a square in the wine’s color, emphasizing the naturalness of their wines, the absence of chemical additives, and the fact that a wine made from its own grapes reflects the true color of those grapes.
