Tenuta Demaio is a family-owned winery located in San Severo, Puglia in Italy. The Demaio family has a long history in agriculture, with Antonio's grandfather cultivating olive trees in the early 20th century. Antonio himself developed a passion for wine making from a young age. In 2010, he began renovating an old farmhouse to establish the winery. Since 2013, Tenuta Demaio has been producing wines using organic and traditional methods, focusing on indigenous grape varieties like Bombino and Nero di Troia and organic olive oil using the local variety Peranzana.
